Enjoy The Next Rocket Launch in a Big Way

June 1, 2020

There is no greater thrill than watching a rocket launch from Kennedy Space Center while sitting on your boat sipping a cold beverage.  For yesterday’s Space X Launch, the best place to view it was from sea where the clouds didn’t interfere.  Pack a picnic, rig a line while you wait, can’t beat it! You can go south from Ponce Inlet along the coast for about 25 miles to the northern most spectator “line” as shown on the graphic from NASA just north of Cape Canaveral (L 48 degrees 46″N) . Depending on your boat, might take a couple hours, but what a nice day! Don’t forget to log on to an audio broadcast to follow along with what is happening on land. You can usually follow along with NASA’s landline 321-867-7135.

Upcoming Rocket Launches include:

SpaceX Falcon 9 Starlink 8th mission Rocket Launch in June – TBD

ULA Atlas V Mars Rocket Launch in July 2020 TBD

Keep up on the times by checking the calendar at Kennedy Space Center
